Obtain my fishing permit online?
The ordering process for a fishing permit for the Walloon Region takes place in just a few steps:
- Log in to the website
- Select the permit holder
- Choose the desired type of fishing permit
- Select the hydrographic sub-basin most frequently visited by the angler
- Make the payment
These steps can be repeated in order to order fishing permits for multiple beneficiaries.
Logging in to the website
Login is performed using the email address (username) and the password chosen when creating the user account. For any issues related to logging in, assistance is available in the FAQ section dedicated to this topic or via the helpdesk.
Selecting the fishing permit beneficiary
The applicant can purchase a fishing permit for themselves or for a third party. If the permit is intended for the applicant, they simply need to confirm the pre-filled personal details. When purchasing a permit for a third party, a blank form is provided so the applicant can enter the third party’s details.
Choosing the desired type of fishing permit
For each permit, a short description is available to help select the appropriate one. Users can also access a detailed description of each permit type and its specific use.
During the course of the year, only the current year’s fishing permit is offered, but at the end of the year it is possible to purchase a permit for either the current year or the following year.
Selecting the hydrographic sub-basin most frequently visited by the angler
Select the hydrographic sub-basin that will benefit from the sale of the fishing permit. The permit is valid across the entire region; this choice in no way restricts its validity to the selected sub-basin.
The applicant is invited to repeat the last three steps of the procedure for each fishing permit they wish to purchase.
Finally, a summary allows the user to carefully check the information and validate the shopping cart before proceeding to payment.
The purchase is only confirmed after payment for the requested fishing permits has been completed.
Making the payment
At the end of the permit purchasing process, the applicant is invited to validate their cart and choose a payment method. Payment is fully secured by Ingenico/Ogone.
The procedure may vary depending on the selected payment method and the user’s bank. Instructions are displayed on screen to guide the user.
