Pay online with Bancontact/Mister Cash (Source: http://www.bcc.be)
Atos Worldline, together with Belgian banks, has developed an online payment system, 3-D Secure, which is available on an ever-increasing number of e-commerce websites. However, there are three things you need to know:
- Your bank must be affiliated with the service.
This is now the case for 90% of Belgian banks. - You must have an identification method.
Internet payments via Bancontact/Mister Cash are fully secured, usually through a digipass or a card reader. This is a security module you received from your bank if you use PC banking. If you do not wish to use PC banking but still want to pay securely online, you can obtain a card reader yourself from your bank. - You must know your card number.
When making a payment, you will need to enter your card number and the expiration date of your bank card. This information is automatically included on all new bank cards. For older cards, you can obtain these details via your bank’s website.
